CW Week 5
Well, Ellen Datlow was here this week, and it was awesome.

And it's hot.

I'm finding it hard to write the entry without grinching about the record-breaking heat...but through totally awesome willpower! I will triumph.


Four of us went to Fremont this week and bought books and climbed on the troll and saw the rocket restaurant and the statue of Lenin and bought books and got mushroom pizza and forgot it and bought books.

Two of us had a Deschutes IPA (Inversion?) last night and it was gibberingly nasty, a force of bad-beer evil.

Seven of us watched MirrorMask, and it was fluffy glitzy fun. (Don't go looking for a plot.)

Three of us fell asleep watching Spirited Away.

Nine of us went to the reading - Eileen Gunn interviewing Ellen Datlow - and also talked to an editor from Tor.

Eleven brave souls submitted to face painting for the Friday party.

Three of us went on an ice cream run last night and had: mango sorbet, sticky toffee pudding, bailey's cream shake.

One of us has a stuffed zebra that tells him to do unspeakable things.
